Welcome!

Aldenville Log and Lumber is a full service mill featuring a finish woodshop, dry kiln, and sawmill. The mill has been in continuous operation since 1972 at the same location. It is conveniently located in northeastern PA, five miles off Route 6 on Route 170 North, near Honesdale.

We buy logs.  Cherry, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Oak, Ash, Red Oak, White Oak, Poplar, Walnut, Hickory, Butternut, Sassafras, Sycamore, and Pine, as well as most all northeastern US species.  We guarantee a good price for good logs.  All scaling and purchasing is done by owner Dan Droppa.

Ask about our custom drying.  Our dry kilns have a 125 thousand board feet capacity.  We dry our lumber slowly and evenly in order to achieve the best quality product.  The kilns are heated using the sawdust from our sawmill which minimizes waste and expense.

Our woodshop is constantly being updated to provide more and better products for your home and office.  We now have over 1,000 different molding profiles which are offered in all of the hardwood species.  We also manufacture high quality door panels, countertops, as well as stair parts such as treads and risers.  Ask about custom gluing for wide panels.

Our warehouse has nearly 500,000 board foot capacity.  We stock a wide variety of hard and soft wood species in various thickness to meet customer needs.

Our new showroom, coming in 2009 will be able to provide a complete look at our product line and how we can match your molding choices with your floor choices with your cabinets, mantles, paneling, and fireplaces.

We are good stewards of our environment. Our bark is used as mulch product.  Slab wood and wood waste is chipped and sent out for chip plywood and wood product.  The woodshop is also heated with wood waste.  Dust from the woodshop is used for agricultural bedding.
